Client Relationship Manager
We are seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to nurture, grow, and protect our most important client relationships, with a particular focus on our highest value accounts.
PGI is a global consultancy that helps organisations build digital resilience. We deploy our people to implement solutions on behalf of clients or to support them in developing their own capabilities. Our vision is a world resilient to digital threats and online harm. To achieve this, we need to grow our team of talented and passionate people.
Our clients include some of the most well known global brands, national governments, and innovative growing businesses. We operate in an exciting, fast-growing sector that bears increasing relevance and importance to nation-states, corporates, universities, and NGOs.
PGI’s corporate pillar is dedicated to delivering high quality solutions and services that strengthen business resilience for our clients. As we continue to grow and work towards increased revenue targets, we are seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to nurture, grow, and protect our most important client relationships, with a particular focus on our highest value accounts. This role will be central to strengthening renewals, deepening engagement across key private sector clients, and identifying sustainable growth opportunities across PGI’s full portfolio. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will ensure clients receive exceptional value while working closely with Delivery, Resourcing, Marketing, Finance, and Sales to drive strong commercial outcomes and consistently high standards of client service.
What you'll be doing
• Own and deepen relationships across a portfolio of strategic accounts, acting as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders and advising on digital resilience and PGI’s specialist capabilities.
• Build long-term account strategies that support client objectives, strengthen renewal performance, and contribute to PGI’s growth ambitions.
• Lead client reviews, roadmap discussions, and forward planning sessions to maintain strong engagement and identify future opportunities.
• Identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts, supporting the development of well-costed proposals aligned to client needs and budgets.
• Maintain accurate revenue forecasting and contribute to quarterly and annual planning, ensuring strong visibility of account performance and pipeline.
• Communicate PGI’s full portfolio and value proposition clearly to maximise client value and unlock growth opportunities.
• Strengthen collaboration between Sales and Delivery to ensure seamless service, shared understanding, and effective management of client expectations.
• Work closely with project teams to manage risks, escalations, and delivery challenges while ensuring governance and internal processes are followed consistently.
• Coordinate with Marketing to support relevant campaigns, case studies, and thought leadership activity across your accounts.
• Maintain high standards of CRM hygiene and account documentation, supporting adoption of PGI’s CRM platform to improve reporting, forecasting, and commercial insight.
• Provide clear reporting on account performance, upcoming opportunities, and client sentiment, while supporting commercial governance and negotiation preparation.
• Ensure all engagements meet PGI’s quality and compliance standards, while representing client priorities in internal planning and management discussions.
• Contribute to PGI’s collaborative culture by sharing market insight, best practice, and supporting continuous improvement across the team.
One day one you will bring
• Experience in account management, client success, or strategic business development, ideally within a business resilience or related professional services environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills, particularly with senior stakeholders and complex client environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal development and commercial discussions.
• A consultative mindset with the ability to understand client challenges and shape practical solutions.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with high personal accountability.
At PGI, culture matters as much as performance. We are proud to foster a collaborative, supportive environment built on trust, integrity, accountability, and shared success, where people work hard, communicate openly, and support one another without blame or unnecessary ego. Continuous improvement is important to how we work, both individually and as a team, and we value people who are open to learning, sharing insight, and finding better ways to deliver for clients and colleagues. Our sales team is known for being approachable, collaborative, and genuinely invested in each other’s success, and we are looking for someone who will strengthen that culture by bringing energy, professionalism, sound judgement, and a team first attitude while representing client needs effectively across the business.
The package includes base salary plus commission, as detailed within PGI’s annual commission plan.
